The Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention’s 2023 annual meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The event will be on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, although there will be an online simulcast on Zoom.
The meeting will open with a review of the Consortium’s past year, updates pending before Colorado lawmakers, and a presentation and panel on Medication-Assisted Treatment in Jails. There will also be an awards presentation, three breakout sessions, and presentations from state agencies and partners, including information about grant funding. The meeting will close with several presentations on new initiatives. We look forward to your attendance!

We will be having a poster session during the meeting. Posters can be research focused or about new community initiatives or programs that would be relevant to Consortium members. Examples could include posters about new treatment programs, public awareness campaigns, recovery-support services, etc.
This also is a great chance to showcase what is happening in your community. We will review applications for relevance to our members. The deadline for submission is COB Wednesday, Oct. 4. Applicants will be notified on Oct. 9.
