This presentation will outline the continuously changing culture of cannabis use, perception of risk, and common exchanges regarding cannabis use and women’s issues. It will review public health concerns, marketing and messaging toward women, and explore the impact on the family and the community. Provide talking points about the cultural implications of women’s use and the impact on themselves and future generations. It will provide up-to-date science regarding addiction, mental health, and body. It will highlight the importance and effectiveness of gender-specific treatment. Sharing evidence-based information to have an intelligent “cannabis conversation.”
