Fentanyl policy evaluations
The state government commissioned two independent evaluation reports following the passage of the Fentanyl Accountability and Prevention Act of 2022. These reports looked at the implementation on the policy and impact on the state. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment hired NPC Research to evaluate the overall impact and make recommendations. The Behavioral Health Administration evaluated the effect tougher criminal penalties had on the behavioral health system.
The Consortium created summaries of each report following their publication.
