Join Colorado’s first virtual International Overdose Awareness Day 5K. Participants can run, walk, bike, hike, or move in any way that suits them anytime between Sunday, Aug. 22 and Aug. 31 (Overdose Awareness Day), wherever is convenient for them.
The Southern Colorado Harm Reduction Association is hosting a night of remembrance to commemorate International Overdose Awareness Day. An Ofrenda will be prepared to receive memorial photos and offerings for those lost to fatal overdoses. This event is open to all.
Join the Harm Reduction Action Center participants, staff, and community partners for a time of mourning and overdose prevention education. There will be naloxone (Narcan) trainings, fentanyl testing strip trainings, ruckus raising, and a memorial.
