Provider Education Symposium: Call for Abstracts for Poster Session
Prior to the Consortium annual meeting, the Provider Education Work Group will be hosting an educational symposium the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 22, on the Anschutz Medical Campus. We invite you to submit an abstract for a poster session that highlights one of the following related to the opioid crisis in Colorado:
- Research
- Quality improvement plans in your medical practice
- Educational initiatives
- Advocacy around opioid issues/policy changes in your community
- Other interesting programs or projects that you would like to highlight!
Please note that while posters will be displayed during an event targeted at medical providers, we invite any individual, program, or organization (e.g. state or local public health, community coalitions, pharmacists, wellness organizations) addressing the opioid crisis in Colorado to submit an abstract. This is an opportunity for you to share your work, or the work of your community, with colleagues from around Colorado.
The posters will be displayed during the annual meeting the following day in order to highlight in greater detail some of the amazing work you and your colleagues are doing around the state.
More details about this educational symposium will be forthcoming.
The deadline for abstract submissions is Sept. 6 at 5 p.m., with notifications going out by Sept. 27. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words. While there is no specific format requirement, please be concise in explaining purpose, any applicable methodologies, results, and conclusions.
