Beyond the Numbers video series returns

Though it may be simpler to focus on the alarming and growing numbers of individuals experiencing a substance use disorder or losing their lives from an overdose, we must remember that every statistic is a person, a family member, a loved one, a friend. Every number has a story, and every community is impacted by it.

The Affected Families and Friends Work Group is honored to feature some of these stories written, directed, edited, and narrated by people with personal experience in the tragedies and triumphs inherent to the epidemic as part of our Beyond the Numbers campaign. We encourage the sharing of these stories throughout Colorado to raise awareness, stop stigma, and share hope that we can bring an end to the loss and suffering and recover together
