2024 Annual Meeting

The Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention’s 2024 annual meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

The event will be on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, and there will be an online simulcast on Zoom.

Preliminary agenda

The meeting will include an overview of the opioid response in Colorado by Dr. Rob Valuck, the Consortium’s executive director; a presentation from Attorney General Phil Weiser about the settlement funds and the Office of the Attorney General’s opioid crisis response efforts; and an overview of opioid-related data from the Colorado Dept. of Public Health and Environment.

The afternoon will have panel discussions and breakout sessions about:

  • Peer support services and the value of working with people with lived experience
  • Creating recovery friendly workplaces
  • Implementing and advancing harm reduction
