Participants will explore the key characteristics that define effective peer support\, and gain practical skills for fostering trust\, building resilience\, and supporting sustainable change in families facing systemic challenges.  \nIn this session\, we’ll dive into practical strategies for helping families achieve real\, lasting change while navigating their local systems of care\, such as: child welfare\, juvenile justice\, probation/ court involvement\, and behavioral health care. Participants will explore how to identify and build on family strengths\, connect families to the right supports\, and foster resilience in the face of systemic challenges. Through a trauma-informed and empowerment-centered lens\, we’ll focus on how peer support can be a catalyst for sustainable transformation.
